Kelli is my Giving Is Awesome winner! Nominated by her mother, Kelli is herself a mom to be (and the bump you see here is the tiniest little 7 month belly you’ll ever see), and the whole family is excited to meet the new addition, Madison. (And me, too!) During our session (on a brutally cold and windy day!) Kelli’s mom and sister joined in the action, too. I really love these photos. Merry Christmas, Kelli!

It is a truth universally acknowledged that a photographer in possession of a wide angle lens should not point it at their subject’s face. Distortion and blah blah blah. Whatever, this is awesome!

The first image is of Annik, and be prepared to see a lot of her over the next few months. We’ve put together a little maternity progression package that will chart her growth at 20, 30, and 40 weeks, so Annik is going to be a blog staple until March!

Rob, Annie & I met up on a perfectly sunny Halifax evening back in August. It was a beautiful day! And then 45 minutes into our photo session, the skies opened up and everything came screeching to a halt. Fortunately we got a shot or two before that happened, because Claire was born less than two weeks later! Annie & Rob, you probably already can’t remember the time before she was part of your lives. I hope these photos serve as happy reminders, and I can’t wait to meet the newest member of your family. xoxo.
