One of my 30 before 30 goals is to read 30 books. I read 5 in January, so I’m on a good pace, but as ever, the majority of them were non-fiction. I’m trying to make an effort to read more novels, but you’ll notice that even on this shelf of to-reads, I only have 4. Amid the constant pile of business books, I’ve got “Going Bovine,” (nearly finished with that one), “The Borrower,” “Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close,” and “The Help” (I thought I should read more cultural zeitgeist books).
Some day I’ll get out of my habit of checking out from the library far more books than I can actually read in 3 weeks, but… not today. Any recommendations for me?
